I grew up in Berlin and paint large Oil-, Acryl- and Watercolour-Paintings. Since my schooldays, art is a very important part of my life and I keep on painting along my way to become a Psychotherapist. With my artwork I try to catch the specific atmosphere of landscapes, which is formed by the light conditions, the weather and my emotional state in this sphere. So a painting can not just show something that could be observed in nature, but it can also transfer a combined perception of a situation, which can also be influenced by the history of a place.

My paintings are giving me an opportunity to catch and to show the emotions I felt in a situation. But they should also preserve room for other emotions and thoughts. I love the way in which a painting can connect you with different moods and thoughts and in this way is changing all the time too. Maybe there is a way to get lost in a painting and find yourself at the same time. This is something I feel especially while looking at clouds and the sky.
